The Wallflowers Announce US Tour Dates In Support of “Glad All Over”

In conjunction with the release of their new album, Glad All OverThe Wallflowers have announced that they will be hitting the road to embark on a full tour this fall. Tickets are set to go on sale this week for the 22-city outing that kicks off in San Antonio, Texas on October 6th.

In addition, the band will be making a series of TV appearances to promote the release of the album. Be sure and tune in to Good Morning America (10/1),The Late Show with David Letterman (10/5) and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (10/8) to catch The Wallflowers performing on the small screen.The band can also be seen on Live From The Artist’s Den, which will premiere on public television on 10/12.  Watch a preview of the episode (including new song “Love Is A Country” and classic “One Headlight”) at www.theartistsden.com/thewallflowers.

Recently wrapping up recording in Nashville, TN at Easy Eye Sound studio, the new album and tour finds frontman Jakob Dylan joining original band membersGreg Richling (bass) and Rami Jaffee (keyboards), with The Wallflowers’ longtime guitarist Stuart Mathis and drummer Jack Irons (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam) rounding out the lineup.

 

Formed in Los Angeles, The Wallflowers rose to fame with their 4x platinum album Bringing Down The Horse, which featured four top charting singles including “6th Avenue Heartache,” “One Headlight,” “The Difference,” and “Three Marlenas.” The two-time Grammy Award winners went on to sell over 7 million records worldwide with a series of critically acclaimed albums before going on hiatus in 2007. During the group’s break from recording, Jakob Dylan released two solo albums, which also garnered significant praise,  2008’s Seeing Things and 2010’s Women and Country.
