The first trailer for Marvel Studio’s Black Widow has arrived. Starring Scarlett Johansson, the highly anticipated stand-alone film takes place in the two year gap between ‘Captain America: Civil War’ and ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and centers around on Natasha Romanoff’s blood-splattered past. Kicking off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we find Natasha reuniting with her family and deciding she’ll no longer run from her past. Wondering how that will turn out? Heads will surely role.
The cast features for the film also features Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Rachel Weisz, Ray Winstone and O.T. Fagbenle. Cate Shortland (Berlin Syndrome) directs the film from a script by Ned Benson (The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby) and Jac Schaefer (The Hustle). Marvel Studios’ Black Widow is in theaters May 1, 2020.
