Ellefson Films, the new film production company run by MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson and his partner, Music and Film Producer and industry exec Thom Hazaert have released the first official teaser trailer for their upcoming horror film DWELLERS. The film stars and is written and directed by Drew Fortier (ATTACK OF LIFE: THE BANG TANGO MOVIE, HER NAME WAS CHRISTA).
Official Synopsis: While shooting a documentary on the suspicious disappearances within the homeless community, a filmmaker and his crew go missing while uncovering a terrifying and vicious secret below the city’s surface.
Drew Fortier said, “The movie is almost done being shot and I couldn’t be happier. If I had to explain the film to someone, I would say it’s like if C.H.U.D. was shot like Blair Witch. People may either love that or completely balk at that but I know that the film will surprise a lot of people. It’s a great time. The cast and crew are doing an astounding job and I am incredibly excited to run this movie through the film festival circuit when the time comes. I can’t wait for people to see it.”
DWELLERS marks the first film project greenlit by Ellefson Films and also stars James L. Edwards, Douglas Esper, Rick Jermain, Dustin Boltjes, Bob Coldicott, Jeff Hatrix (MUSHROOMHEAD), Tharasa DiMeo, and Mitch Lafon.
The trailer features Cova Ajna’s take on Nine Inch Nails’ “The Day The World Went Away”.
Fortier is also in production on THANKS. AND SORRY: THE CHUCK MOSLEY MOVIE which will dive into the life and music of the late Faith No More frontman Chuck Mosley.
