Diamante has shared the official acoustic version of “Black Heart” off her debut album, Coming In Hot. Directed by Postas and shot at the Youtube Studios in Los Angeles, the video showcases an intimate performance of the track with Diamante’s guitarist, Max Porush.
“I have always felt that ‘Black Heart’ needed to be captured in a raw way because it’s one of my most honest songs. It literally describes the motions I always go through after a heartbreak. This take is even more vulnerable, and it really gives the song a new life,” Diamante explains of the new version.
Diamante, 21, brings her own flair to the rock genre with Coming In Hot. As Billboard proclaimed, “Coming in Hot is an excellent showcase for the raw power of her voice, which at times recalls Melissa Etheridge and Sass Jordan blended with the dispassionate élan of Blondie’s Debbie Harry.” Produced by Howard Benson [Chris Cornell, Kelly Clarkson, My Chemical Romance, Halestorm], the record is a head-turning debut full of “arresting rock anthems,” which Cryptic Rock noted in its review.
Diamante’s debut album, Coming In Hot is out now via Better Noise Records.
