One of Southern California’s hottest up and coming Pop-Funk bands, UNDECIDED FUTURE, has established itself as a true force to be reckoned in the music industry. Inseparable since high school, Undecided Future is a pop/funk band consisting of Matt Isaac (Lead Vocals), Cole Fredrick (Guitar), Hayden Lyskoski (Bass), Matisse Pasillas (Drums), and Nick Stone (Keys) are a southern California band who have spent 11 weeks at #1 on the Reverb Nation charts and perform regularly at Disneyland. The band’s sound and songwriting is diverse and takes influences from Pop, Funk, Reggae and R&B and then they masterfully mix it into a groove that’s fresh and timeless. Undecided Future has also been rated #1 on the ReverbNation charts for the past year, and has been reported as “Orange County’s Up-and-Coming Band to Watch” by CBSLA in 2014 and again in 2016.
The band recently received global exposure with their appearance on YouTube’s new music series, Best.Cover.Ever., a global singing competition that invites aspiring singer-songwriters to submit cover performances in hopes of being selected to perform with the artist. The five-member funk and R&B group won the duet opportunity after submitting a video of themselves playing Derulo’s hit song “Trumpets.” Soon after submitting their audition tape, bass player Hayden Lyskoski was diagnosed with testicular cancer and was not able to perform on the show. The band dedicated their performance of Derulo’s “Want to Want Me” to him, who was able to speak to Jason Derulo via Skype while in the hospital undergoing cancer treatments. Hayden’s story is truly inspiring and the band recently announced that Hayden is cancer free!
Undecided Future’s new single “Intoxicated” was just released and they will also be performing at Seacrest Studios at CHOC Hospital this Wednesday 12/13. Hayden and the group really wish to bring joy through their music and lend support to those also affected by cancer.
